LATEST NEWS---LATEST NEWS---LATEST NEWS 15 June 2008: Next Board Meetings: These will take place in September and November 2008 - dates will be posted soon. 15 June 2008: REMINDER: WCC/PCT - consultaion with the voluntary and community sector is still ongoing until the end of June. Although we have had the two public events you can still contribute by returning your questionaire. March to June 2008 - Consultation period for the review of working practice between Wilts County Council/Wiltshire Primary Care Trust and the Voluntary and Community Sector. Details of consultation events will follow shortly. January 2008 - The Wiltshire Compact Board has appointed an independent Chair for the first time. Rex Webb, from Salisbury has been appointed to this role. He has experience of working in both the statutory and voluntary sectors. Rex says "I am exited to have been given the opportunity to Chair the Board. A lot of good work has gone into developing The Wiltshire Compact and it's codes of practice. I am looking forward to the challenges ahead and being able to help the board to embed the Compact principles across the statutory and voluntary sector." | |||||
